The Brief

A 3-day motorcycling event on the sunny shores of Goa, with competitions, races, expert sessions, concerts and more. RiderMania is branded as Motoverse. With the aim of focusing on the Himalayan which has a separate page on Instagram, our team was elated to work on a project that was so close to our passions. The brief asked us to focus on the adventurous spirit of the bike supported by the energy and essence of the event as a whole. 

Over the course of 3 days with a little over 20,000 participants, through video and live amplifications from the event – we were present to make some noise. With the sun beating down and dust from the energy of the event, we set out to make our mark on the trail. 

The brief, received only a week before the event,  required us to deliver 4 videos in total, 1 for each day of the event supported by an aftermovie along with live amplifications from the event. A unique requirement considering the shorter turn around time which ranged from 4 to 6 hours.

The Approach

Our team was exhilarated to receive this brief, with our own biker enthusiasts first in line to create an impact with this project. Our own dream team of 6 was set to travel to the sunny shores of Goa for the event, happening on the wide expanse of – of Hilltop. 

Day 1 consisted of connecting with our POC to do a recce of the location followed by a detailed understanding of the map so that teams could be set up on division of tasks, considering the wide array of requirements. The clarity presented by the POC was extremely helpful, as they had a full understanding of what was required and how it can be achieved in such a small timeline. 

Walkie Talkies were acquired to keep communications going between our team and division of work was established, along with a flow of tasks that allowed everyone to be updated at all times on the required. 

A war room set up by the organisers of the event offered respite from what turned out to be roughly 12 hours a day on our feet followed by hours of editing to get the content out on time. 

Each day ended in the joy of accomplishment and the anticipation for the next.

The Final Result

Blood, sweat and tears that went into this project was not in vain, as each deliverable was met on the timeline promised. We had an experience we would never forget and were reminded of why we do what we do. 

We eagerly look forward to the event this year to see what more can be achieved by our team.
