We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Influencer Marketing to lead our influencer initiatives across brands and projects. This role demands a strong understanding of social trends, platform dynamics, and creator ecosystems to drive impactful collaborations that align with our brand goals. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:
    Lead the development of influencer marketing strategies ensuring alignment with current market standards, emerging social media trends, and brand goals. Oversee planning and provide guidance for smaller campaigns and monthly scope activities.
  • Influencer Identification:
    Guide the team in identifying, recruiting, and managing influencers that align with the brand’s values and campaign objectives. For flagship campaigns, participate directly in the selection process; for others, provide final approval on influencer choices and execution plans.
  • Relationship Building:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with both influencers and brand points of contact (POCs) to ensure smooth and effective collaborations. Oversee contract negotiations, campaign briefings, and provide necessary support and resources to all parties involved. Foster long-term partnerships with creators to convert them into consistent brand advocates, while also establishing trust and open communication with brand stakeholders to align expectations and goals.
  • Campaign Management:
    Take ownership of end-to-end campaign execution for large-scale initiatives, conceptualization, execution, and post-campaign analysis. For recurring and smaller campaigns, supervise the execution process and ensure alignment with brand guidelines and compliance regulations.
  • Content Strategy:
    Lead content development strategy for major campaigns to ensure resonance with the target audience and authenticity to the brand. Oversee and guide content planning and execution for smaller campaigns in collaboration with the Influencer Management (IM) and Content Strategy teams.
  • Performance Tracking:
    Work with the Influencer Marketing and Performance Marketing teams to track and analyze key campaign metrics including reach, engagement, conversions, and ROI. Review results, offer insights, and set benchmarks to optimize future campaign performance.
  • Budget Management:
    Manage and allocate the influencer marketing budget across all campaigns to ensure maximum ROI while staying within financial parameters defined by briefs and project scopes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    Ensure seamless coordination between the Influencer Marketing team and internal departments such as Business Development, Copy, Client Servicing, and Performance Marketing. Provide leadership to resolve communication gaps and streamline collaboration efforts.
  • Industry Awareness:
    Remain updated with the latest industry trends, platform innovations, and influencer marketing best practices to consistently elevate campaign quality and relevance.
  • Crisis Management:
    Address and resolve issues or controversies arising from influencer partnerships swiftly and professionally to maintain and protect the reputation of the brand and agency.
  • Training and Development:
    Mentor and support junior team members, offering skill-building opportunities, feedback, and training to strengthen their capabilities within the influencer marketing function.
  • Networking:
    Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to build valuable relationships with influencers, partner agencies, and other key stakeholders in the influencer ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years in a Marketing Agency and 4 years overall experience in influencer marketing.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
