CS: To be or Not to be?

Establishing, maintaining and building long-term relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service, immensely flexible turn around times, and ultimately a perfect end product which meets the clients expectations is something that every business strives to achieve and tries to maintain.

Being a Bachelors of Business Administration graduate, marketing in its entirety is something that has always appealed to me, a field where I feel confident in my prowess to execute anything to the best of my capabilities.

The intense pace at which the industry is growing and progressing is something that excites me as it requires companies to be agile and adaptable in order to keep up with the constantly changing market, something which I feel directly benefits organisations and moulds its employees into stronger, disciplined and productive individuals.

An account manager, working in the client servicing department, could be characterised as the versatile adhesive that offers a wide range of benefits, such as building and maintaining strong and durable bonds, providing strength and direction in bridging the gap and holding the client and agency together.

In its essence, an account manager is the superglue that holds the entire team together.
Think Tree has been an absolute rollercoaster ride, providing the most thrilling, exciting and productive experience which any agency has to offer, which was perfectly aligned with my persona, inciting me more to be a key contributor towards the success of the organisation. This was the first time I was hearing about social media calendars, design notes and video briefs and in all honesty, it was not intimidating, but extremely intriguing. I was working with more than five brands during my first month and that was a very impactful experience to begin with which definitely carved the path for what more was to come in the near future.

Trust is a fundamental aspect of any relationship, whether it’s personal or professional, it allows individuals to feel secure and comfortable with one another, and it is essential for effective communication and collaboration.

Trust is what brought me to Think Tree, trust is what got me to handle our biggest retainer client and trust is something that has helped me build such strong and meaningful relationships with so many people who I have crossed paths with within my organisation.

A strong solid foundation of mutually beneficial relationships and individuals with similarly aligned thoughts all directed towards one specific goal, success and revenue generation clubbed with a good balance of beers and biryanis is something that I feel helps an organisation in all aspects. In conclusion, client servicing is an essential aspect of any business, and one that values and invests in it will ultimately reap the benefits of a satisfied, loyal client base.

At the end of the day each and everything that I have mentioned for a business to grow successfully in unison, ultimately depends on whether or not your organisation has a strong WiFi connection.
