Our BRIEF
The sizzle of the tunday kababi being fried and the pop of the Coke Zero can, filled the atmosphere. “Lucknow is Cooking,” led by Coca-Cola India, in collaboration with Swiggy and SteppinOut, was a large two day event with performances from popular artists. SLMG is the largest independent bottling and distribution partner of Coca-Cola products in North India, and our team was tasked with covering the event on their behalf.
We were there to capture every bite, sip and all the little wholesome moments on both days of the event. In true Nawabi style, we spiced it up with our live amplification and coverage. And for a fitting, refreshing end, we had a bottle of Coca-Cola to sip on while watching the aftermovie we curated.
The ask was to deliver 3 videos, one for each day of the event, and an aftermovie; along with some static posts and stories to go up during the event all on a tight dealline.
The Approach
The team made their way to Lucknow a day before the event for a quick venue scout:to plan the shots and to make sure that the final output was of the highest quality, both from the production and content side – and of course scoping out good street food.
The following days involved shooting the event, including the performances of artists like Anuv Jain and Jasleen Royal. Our team worked hard to capture every emotion of the people attending the event, right from a camera on the ground to a drone flying skyhigh.
THE FINAL RESULTS
As each video was shot and edited, it was evident that the smiles on people’s faces, the drizzle of the oil, and the fizz of the soda were the real superstars. We had an unforgettable experience and acquired a newfound love for the work we do.
